INSTALLATION

This program does not require installation. Simply place the
SINC.exe file anywhere on your system. Double clicking
    it will start it.

OPERATION

There are two main windows: The "Display Control" window which
contains all of the controls and the "Stock Index News Clock" window which
shows the Earth display. The "Stock Index News Clock" window shows small
"tags" that indicate the values of stock market items. Each shows
a name, value, a change value, and a percentage change value.
Double clicking on any of these "tags" will open your web browser
to the web page associated with it. Using the mouse or keyboard
the size, position, and spin are controlled. The values on the
"tags" are automatically updated every 10 minutes. The individual
tags are colored either red or greed to indicate that the value
has increased (green) or decreased (red) during the trading day.
If the value of an individual tag has not changed recently, the
color becomes 'faded' (sort of grayed out) to show that this item
    is inactive (market closed etc.).

The "Display Control" window controls how the "Stock Index News Clock"
window will appear. Starting at the top of this window and moving
    down:

There are four selection buttons at the very top: A, B, C, and D.
These buttons select from four different views. Each of these views is
controlled by all of the controls that affect the view -- including size
position, and spin. Pressing the SAVE button will update the selected
view with whatever the current view settings are set to.

    There are several "check boxes":

"Cycle" causes all of the "tags" to rotate through Value, Change, and
Percent values. When the Cycle check box is not checked, the three
check boxes directly below it will select which of the three values
( Value, Change, and Percent ) will be shown. Hovering the mouse
cursor over the "tag" will cause it to show its Name instead of a value.

The "Large" check box makes the "tags" larger.

The "Noon" check box fixes your view of the Earth to a location that
looks down on the current location where it is noon (sun at zenith).

The "Night" check box divides the day.

The "Dark" check box changes the background color to black.

The "Grid" slider control changes how the latitude and longitude grid
lines are shown. Set to extreme left to turn it completely off.

The "Clock" slider control changes how the time information is shown.
Set to extreme left to turn it completely off.

The "Help" button opens this readme.txt file.

The "GET" button immediately updates the display with the most current
data. The program will automatically do this every 10 minutes to keep
the data on the screen current.
