What's New:

Update 5.7 of the profiles.txt file restores the INGV Italy Feeds

Update 5.6 of the profiles.txt file restores the EMSC and NRCAN Feeds

Update 5.5 of the profiles.txt file restores the GS RAS Russia and PHIVOLCS feeds. A new PHIVOLCS feed for 4.0 Magnitude has been added

Update 5.4 of the profiles.txt file restores the BGS and PHIVOLCS feeds.

Update 5.3 of the profiles.txt file adds a new earthquake feed from the Russian Federation

Update 5.2 of the profiles.txt file adds a limit to the number of earthquakes (8000) to prevent display failures

Update 5.1 of the profiles.txt file includes fixes for 3 feeds which have 'broken' since the last update:

Profiles 54 now updates most of the feeds to accept encryted data. Most of the feed sources are still available as either encrypted or non-encrypted data. As the world continues to migrate to ecrypted data transactions, many of these feeds may drop support for unencryted data. Profiles 54 guards against these changes if they happen.

Profiles 51: The Canadian NRCAN feeds have been restored. NRCAN broke their data format. In addition, they no long offer detail pages for individual earthquakes. Good job Canada.

Profiles 51: The Australian GEOSCIENCE feed has been partially restored. In addition to breaking their data format they have also removed depth information from their data feeds. Depth information is now only available on the individual earthquake detail pages. Nice job Australia.

Profiles 51:The Philippines PHIVOLCS feed has been partially restored. PHIVOLCS broke their data format and reformatted their data presentation in such a way that this feed shows all of the earthquakes for the current month. As the day of the month increases, the list accumulates more earthquakes. This list is emptied and reset at the start of every month. It's hard to imagine a presentation as stupid as this, but here it is.

Notes:

The availability of the various data feeds are not guaranteed and are subject to the complete control of the originating agency. You are encouraged to let them know when they are performing poorly (like removing depth information or detail pages).

If you know of any earthquake data feeds which have not been included in Earthquake 3D, please sent this information to feeds@wolton.net so that it may be included.
